love the new chapter! looking forward to reading them resolve their fight - i think rory was too sensitive. They hadn't had too much drama lately, good fight...looking forward to the make up!

anonymous: well, obviously, shira is an idiot and not classy at all. i think it's funny how she just assumes everything associated with rory is low class just cause she thinks she is better. i bet at the wedding she'll say something like, well i'm glad you let your grandmother help or something like that a la emily in season 1 when she thought lorelai had bought rory's dress as opposed to make it.
authors: love the story, definitely one of my faves, and i love the fact that each chapter is like 50 pages long. also i loved the fight (in a way that you can love the fight) i can't wait to see them make up :)

hey!
so i know we ve all prob gotten the terrible news about this being the final season....but i just wanted to say how much i love this story, and even if we cant have the ending we would like for rory and logan on tv, at least we seem to have it in TGOL!
i hope the decision to end gg doesnt affect your desire to write!
ps. i loved this chapter, and i cant wait for the next one so logan and rory's fight can be resolved!

Glad you all seem to like the lamp (and the fact that Shira didn't). Jess, like the idea about Shira saying something at the wedding abotu Emily helping...we'll have to remember that.
Also, glad you all liked the last chapter and how long it was. Didn't expect it to get that long, but we're definitely happy with how it turned out.

We think the lamp is Rory/Logan so I'm sorry you disagree. Lorelai has several knockoffs at the Dragonfly that you can see throughout various scenes (which I didn't even notice til after we chose the gift, but it was a cool thing to realize)so I think it would make sense that it reminds Rory of home.
If you are thinking it wouldn't fit in with Logan's apartment the way it looked in season 6, I agree. But, it's not the same apartment, and I imagine it more homey than Logan's was in season 6...
